Danny Fuentes
Marketing Coordinator, Community Agroecology Network
IDanny is a student of Agroecology and Economics at UC Santa Cruz. His Research focus is on soil management and alternative trade systems. He has one year of experience working for the Natural Resource Conservation Service under the USDA, as well as over 4 years experience as an active member of various student organizations.
In the summer of 2009, Danny participated in a 10 week Field-Internship to a coffee-farming community in El Salvador. Most recently, he has served as the Marketing Assistant for the Community Agroecology Network (CAN) for two years, He was recently appointed to the Marketing Coordinator position with CAN.
In his free time, Danny enjoys cooking at home, bike riding with friends, watching movies, listening to music and writing poetry.
